In the ongoing age of chaos in handling the arithmetical problems among our children, we are proud enough to introduce the state of the nature's creativity and the first of its kind in Kuwait, a new concept namely "Universal Concept in Mental Arithmetic System" shortly called UCMAS. For centuries, abacus was Chinese shopkeeper's calculator, but with the advent of modern calculators and cash registers, it slowly disappeared from the business scene. In the past few years it seems to have made a comeback although not in its traditional environment. The abacus is now being used in education as a tool for enhancing mental ability in children.
